EXULT

EXULT is a New York City based performance duo from artists Reed Rushes and Kate Williams. Working with personas EXULT taps into excess, over-saturation, power, and desire. As described by an audience member watching their performances is “like doing an entire bottle of poppers in a bathtub full of money.” Rushes and Williams highlight the most indulgent and grimiest parts of life. Sharing a nuanced sense of what it is like to exist in a place that prioritizes capitalism, hedonism, and complacency, they speak to the horrors and delights of being alive.

Rushes and Wiliams first duo performance happened at a rave in Queens, since they’ve shown work at Performance Space New York, Rockaway Beach with The Locker Room Gallery, Dirty Magazine, and Chaos Computer, among other venues.
